"Oh Jareth," Jackie cried. "I love you so much, ever since that day in the flower field, I have known I wanted to marry you. Yes, I will marry you, but I have one condition."
"Yes my darling! Anything for you!" Jareth eagerly cried.
"I wish to see my mother before our marriage. Then I will stay here with you forever."
"Why would you want to see her?" Jareth questioned.
"No matter what, she's my mother, and I feel as if I need to tell her that I'm pregnant and getting married. It just wouldn't feel right otherwise."
"Of course darling, we can go tomorrow."
"That sounds perfect. Can we spend the night too? We can get a hotel for you, and I want to have one last sleepover with my friends."
"Jackie, as long as it makes you happy, I will do anything."
The next day. Jareth and Jackie left for the Aboveground. They appeared in the middle of the kitchen where Sarah was eating a bowl of cereal, reading a book called "Goblins Suck" Jackie looked at the title and sighed. Written by Sarah Williams. At the loud pop, her mother looked up.
"Jackie!" she cried, "You came back! Had enough of that filthy beasts grubby hands all over you, eh?" Jareth stepped out from behind the door. Jackie clutched her stomach and took his hand.
"No mother. I just came to tell you that we're getting married." Jackie said, kissing Jareth.
"Why are you marrying that thing?" Sarah spat.
"Because I love him. And I'm pregnant."
