The next morning, Jackie and Jareth shared a smile over breakfast. They remembered last nights adventures, and the High King suspected something was amiss. His queen and he had many nighttime adventures, and he remembered her father giving him the lecture on safe sex. Now that was the most embarrassing day of his life. He leaned back and watched the young couple whispering and laughing over a joke unheard by him. They were perfect for one another, just as his queen had been for him.
Jareth and Jackie bid farewell to the king and his palace after super. They mounted their horses, and rode once again through the labyrinth. They came to a fork in the road, and Jareth led Jackie a different way then the way they had came. Jackie remembered coming from the dry dusty desert, but Jareth was leading her into a dark forest. Jackie held tight to the reins. This place frightened her. Why had Jareth brought her this way? Her question was soon answered when Jareth pushed aside a patch of brambles to revel a beautiful oasis.
Birds of paradise flew amongst the jungle of trees and tropical flowers. A cool spring ran down along a rock wall, creating a lovely waterfall. The grass was soft and springy beneath Jackie's feet. She slipped off her horse and took off her riding boots. Her bare feet were tickled by the grass. She ran around the glen, before collapsing on the grass. Silently, Jareth leaped from his horses back, and in one swift motion, picked Jackie up, and carnied her bridal style into the water. The water just touched Jackie's toes, and it felt cool and pure. The Jackie saw where Jareth was carrying her. He was going to toss he in the water fall! Jackie squealed and struggled. Jareth held tight on to her, and stepped into the waterfall.
